El equipo de la Corporación Compromiso está conformado por 29 profesionales, de los cuales 14 son mujeres y 15 son hombres, profesionales de reconocida trayectoria en la formación de líderes, educación en derechos humanos, asesoría a proyectos productivos populares y en la gestión de proyectos de desarrollo social, cultural y ambiental.
Compromiso tiene cuatro líneas de intervención: Línea Ambiental, Línea Rural, Línea Jurídica Estratégica de Paz y Derechos Humanos . Desde las líneas de trabajo se desarrollan programas de formación política y liderazgo para la incidencia política, la creación y fortalecimiento de organizaciones sociales, la conducción de procesos sociales colectivos y la formación de relevos generacionales en las organizaciones.
Tiene presencia en la región Nororiental, en los municipios El Carmen de Chucuri, San Vicente de Chucurí, en la provincia de Guanentá en los municipios de Curití, San Gil, Pinchote, Charalá, Mogotes, Onzaga, San Joaquín, en Piedecuesta, Sábana de Torres, Barrancabermeja, Puerto Wilches, Matanza, Suratá y el área metropolitana de Bucaramanga, Girón, Piedecuesta, Floridablanca y Lebrija.
