Participamos en el Congreso Nacional por la Paz, realizado el pasado 5 de abril de 2025, en la ciudad de Bogotá y convocado por la Delegación del Gobierno Nacional en los diálogos de
negociación política con el Ejército de Liberación Nacional (ELN) y los diálogos sociojurídicos con otros actores armados.
La convocatoria contó con el apoyo de las Plataformas de Derechos Humanos y Paz y organizaciones sociales.
Desde el Congreso por la Paz se llamó a:
1. Constituir el Movimiento Nacional por la Paz, que fortalezca la movilización de la sociedad civil en favor de la paz con justicia social.
2. Articular todas las agendas e iniciativas humanitarias y de paz del orden local, regional, nacional y sectorial con el fin de incidir en una política pública de paz, que contribuya a la búsqueda de la paz desde los territorios.
3. Construir la agenda de transformaciones políticas, sociales, económicas y culturales, que sienten las bases para consolidar la democracia y una ciudadanía actuante desde iniciativas noviolentas.
Desde la Red Nacional en Democracia y Paz reiteramos nuestro llamado a la importancia y necesidad de retomar las negociaciones como única vía para construir paz con justicia que tanto anhelamos para nuestro país.
